E C Cordery was born in 1976 of British-Belgian parents. After having spent the early part of her childhood in England, her family moved to Belgium and it was here that she managed to channel her love for language and literature into a degree from the University of Antwerp. She has spent time living in South America, the United States and ample time round Europe picking up different languages and many other things generally not included in school curriculums. She is currently working in Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand as a software license analyst.

Also of the prodigious year 1976, F A Wilkinson is already considered a well established designer by her friends and colleagues. Having left the Silicon Valley for Belgium in 2001, it was in Brussels where she was reacquainted with her artistic roots while pursuing her Masters Degree in Transmedia. She is currently working as a lecturer at Waikato Institute of Technology in Hamilton, Aotearoa/New Zealand and freelancing.

In 2006, plainegg will make a shift to designing for the new era. Though not initially wholly profitable (from a monetary standpoint) the focus of the design side of plainegg will be lending and aligning the design skill-set to environmentally and forward thinking small businesses and like-minded non-profits. This does not meant that plainegg cannot support the needs of other businesses. However, built into the cost of design will be a 'secular tithe', ie. money that will be donated to plainegg charities of choice.
